![]() It comes with four rockets which is nice because these things can go pretty far if it’s windy or if you’ve tilted your rocket launcher! The kid that shoots them can run to grab them while someone else adds the other two rockets onto the launcher. There are no batteries, no electronics, just a good quality toy to run outdoors with! These literally keep my kids busy for hours. These things are WILD! They live up to their claim of launching 20 stories (200 feet!) high into the air! We have just over a half acre of property and my boys were able to tilt the rockets and launch them clear to the other side of the property! It was AWESOME! Many of the other Stomp Rockets kits are for a single user so this Dueling set is pretty cool to use for siblings and classrooms! More than one kid can stomp at a time! OR one kid can stomp both sides – however you want to set it up!Īlthough in all of these pictures you see the yellow stomping pads next to each other, we also had them dragged out across from each other so two kids could stomp on it at the same time. When you stomp on the plastic bottle, air rushes through the tube and fills the body of the rocket. The paper rocket is placed on a launch tube connected to a plastic bottle. My boys quickly put it all together – no instructions even needed – and were playing within minutes. In this activity, stomp rockets are propelled by compressed air. It’s incredibly simple to put together right out of the box. We've combed these lists ourselves, as well as used our own research and experiences to share the very best, most engaging, and totally trending toys for kids that they'll be obsessing over.I was a little nervous that the set would break the day we received it simply because my boys are no small potatoes! But surprisingly this Stomp Rockets Dueling Rockets set has lasted us not only through the first day but my kids STILL use it and haven’t broken anything! For $15ish this STEM kit is pretty dang awesome! They're precious hours of our lives we'll never get back, but hey, it was invaluable to us to hear recommendations right from the kids themselves. We will post dates, videos, and relevant idiocy. We got hours-long responses about what game this YouTuber loves, which toy is being played by that TikTokker, and what toy this Twitch streamer just reviewed. This is the official Facebook page of Detroit garage, r & b, and punk rock n rollers The Stomp Rockets. While we're not ashamed to admit we pumped our own children for intel, it's not an approach we recommend you take. And so far? Pretend play, Magna-Tiles, and classics like Barbies and board games are making the biggest splash. It's our jobs to sift through the lists, cross-check them against one another, and determine what it is that your kids really want. We know that these lists are really overwhelming, but that's where we come in. Games are also making a big comeback after taking a turn in 2021 - which was likely a rebellion against all the board games we all played in 2020. Our own Toy of the Year awards showed that magic and animals are a huge trend! There are also a ton of toys based on television shows like Bluey, Baby Shark, and Gabby's Dollhouse. This year, the trends at the Toy Fairs were pretty exciting, trending towards all things surprise and magic, but updated from recent blind box toys to include surprises that are actually a part of the experience of play, not just the opening of the toy. The toys they want are ever-changing, and it can be seriously hard to keep up with what trend is cool and what’s “Ugh, so lame, Mom.” Thankfully, there are people out there whose job is to figure out what our kids want before it’s sold out and going for the price of a small car on eBay. Kids are picky, fickle little creatures, and honestly, that’s a big part of their charm. ![]()
